Switzerland Day 6: Swiss Day

It was Swiss Day today, which meant firecrackers all day and even more Swiss flags than usual flying on every corner of every street!

In the evening there was a band of bell ringers parading down the main street with virtually everyone in the village tagging along behind. We were in the middle of the crowd and with it constantly moving, it was rather difficult to get some steady shots of people!

At the end of the parade, they performed some bell songs, then the brass band played. After that, Albert the horn player made an appearance with his traditional Alpine horn, which was very cool!
