Today was the last day of my Swiss adventure!
We took a cable car up to the Schilthorn and the revolving restaurant for breakfast, set of the James Bond film On Her Majesty’s Secret Service. More food of course! There was even champagne for breakfast, very 007! (Well it wasn’t quite a martini but close enough!)
This is the actual restaurant that was built for the James Bond film, very cool! It was originally set up as a base for the bad guy, then the film company gave it to the country and it was converted into a restaurant.
After breakfast we went out onto the viewing platform, from which you can see a 360° view of the Swiss Alps. I could’ve stood all day zooming on the mountains and fields surrounding the Schilthorn.
Far off in the distance we could even see Mont Blanc! (Credit for this photo goes to my fiancée!)
Throughout the week we kept seeing man made stacks of rocks, so I thought I’d make one of my own. I wonder if it’s still there…
