Harrogate: The Challenges

Me and Hannah went into Harrogate today and decided to do a series of photo challenges.
We’re both doing a blog post on it and will link to each other at the bottom, so you can decide who you think won!

The categories are:

1. Red
A photo with the only colour being red.

2. Number 6
A photo of the number 6, with no other numbers present.

3. No Straight Lines
A photo featuring no straight lines.

4. No Posts
A photo with no posts in it (no close-ups or macros allowed). If you’ve been to Harrogate, you’ll know this is a difficult challenge!

5. One Person
A photo of a person, with no other people in the shot.

6. Something Shiny
A photo of a something shiny.

7. Pattern
A photo of a pattern.

8. Bird
A photo of a bird.

9. Cool
A cool photo. For the final challenge, we just had to take a photo that made the other one go “oh that’s cool!”

So here are my entries:

5. One Person
20140106-161341.jpgI’m not too keen on this one, it’s a bit out of focus. But that’s my shot so I can’t change it!

6. Something Shiny
20140106-161355.jpgCan you see my reflection?!

7. Pattern

8. Bird
20140106-161421.jpgJust in case, I’ll say I don’t own the Barclays logo or any trademark of theirs. The sign in this shot is property of Barclays Bank!

9. Cool
