On the set in Wetherby

First of all, I was intending to go into Leeds today following the challenge ideas on Facebook, but unfortunately that didn’t happen today. I will be doing it at some point, it’s just a matter of when, so watch this space!

So, onto this post!
I went into Wetherby during last week to see the filming of a new Christmas film called Get Santa in the town centre.

We weren’t allowed to get too close to the action, so all the photos I took were with a very long lens. (Just so I’m covered, I don’t own anything to do with this film and claim no rights to anything I’ve taken a photo of in this post!)

This security guy didn’t seem too keen on me being there with a big camera and a long lens attached, he asked me at one point to “try not to be obvious” when taking photos!20140224-192215.jpg

I think the guy in the next photo is Rafe Spall, Timothy Spall’s son…correct me if I’m wrong!20140224-192242.jpg

I did manage to get some video footage of them filming, but I didn’t think it would be a good idea to post that anywhere, so that will remain under wraps at least until the film is released!

Stay tuned for the Leeds challenges post, coming soon!
